Gootopia School Science Workshops IMPORTANT: ONLY AVAILABLE TO SCHOOLS - 10 TICKETS MINIMUM, EVEN IF FEWER PUPILS ATTENDING. Duration: 1 hour Location: Wandsworth, Brixton, Lewisham, or via our Mobile Service Age Group: 3-14 years Included: All materials, including aprons. Each child receives a tub of slime to take home. Minimum Booking Requirement: 10 tickets. We can accommodate smaller groups but the minimum charge applies. Payment: Please contact us if you would prefer to pay by invoice. Availability: If your preferred time slot is not available, please contact us for further assistance. Explore the exciting world of science with Gootopia's Slime Science Workshops! Suitable for Early Years to Year 6, these workshops are designed to align with the KS1 and KS2 science curriculums. We cater to all groups, including tailored sessions for SEN children. Our workshops provide a hands-on learning experience where children delve into the chemical properties of slime and discover its relevance to material science. Each participant will create their own batch of slime from scratch and engage in a fun quiz that reinforces the scientific concepts learned. Mobile School Service: We offer sessions for up to 30 pupils at £499. Additional pupils can join for £15 each. Important Notice: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult who will oversee their safety and behaviour throughout the workshop. Gootopia staff are not responsible for supervising children. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal to ensure a positive environment for all attendees.

School bookings - up to 7 days before your event, you can transfer your booking to another date, subject to availability. Bookings are non-refundable. Product Safety: All ingredients used in our slime-making are child-safe. However, participation is at the attendees' own risk. Property Damage: Slime may come into contact with clothes or personal items. Gootopia accepts no liability for any damage or staining. Personal Safety: Ingredients may occasionally contact eyes or open wounds, typically remedied by washing with warm water. Gootopia holds no liability for any resulting discomfort or injury. Activity Risks: Our workshops may include lively activities where children may run and engage in boisterous play. While we prioritise safety, accidents like slipping may occur. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these risks. Please contact us if you require Public Liability/Risk Assessments. Store Safety: Our stores may have staircases. We urge guardians/teachers to accompany children on stairs and exercise caution. Gootopia is not responsible for accidents in these areas.
